The way you pack your Centroid M400 control for shipping to CentroidRepairs is very important as we do not want to have additional damage done in shipping.
You should insure you package for $ 2,500.00 or more, because if it is lost where will you be able to find a replacement and at what cost will it be.

We have assembled the following set of pictures for you to use only as a reference guide.

Place paper packing inside the control to support all components during shipping and then screw the back panel in place with all screws.

Install the back cover

Cover the monitor with cardboard for additional safety in shipping

Place your Control inside the shipping box and pack it well with bubble pack.

Purchase a Heavy duty box from Lowes/Home Depo/U-Haul. Ours was from Lowes 24 x 18 x 18” Then we cut it in half on 1 of the 18” sides to make it 24 x 18 x 9” as shown. Then taped the 2 half’s back together double walling the ends in the process.

Isometric view of a M400 control packed for shipping. This is sized to save you money in the cost of shipping and still have a control packed securely for handling.

We recommend using UPS for shipping.

We have had Fed-Ex damage multiple repaired – return shipped packages from that were properly
packed by us and this is why we do not use or recommend them any longer.

Please Note:
If you do not pack your control properly or securely and there is damage, YOU will have to do the work to get compensated by your shipper. We inspect all packages the day of arrival. We will provide you with pictures and details so that you can make your claim to your shipper.
If you want us to do this work, we charge for doing your claim work at our shop rate of $150.00 p/hr.
