We will invoice you using the email address on your RMA paperwork when your repairs are completed. We will ship your control, preferably by UPS or Fed-Ex when payment has been received.
Once shipment is made we will provide you the tracking number.

We no longer accept Credit Card (CC) or electronic payments.
We do not accept CC and due to the additional costs we need to charge you to process all
CC transactions and electronic transfers have concerning new safety issues.
Skilled labor is not cheap and often cheap labor is not skilled. We are a real brick and mortar service laboratory with state of the art equipment. We are a Master Centroid dealer with over 50 years of PC service and experience. We will repair your PC at chip level and have all of the equipment to properly complete this work.
We are often asked on the initial phone call to provide a price or Guess-timate prior to sending us a repair. This is very difficult because there are often multiple issues. Each issue can have a range of charges depending on your specific hardware and its age. System repair costs vary from $1,200 up to $5,500 depending on the control model and the problems we find and then fix. We have a 97% repair success rate. Our prices are very reasonable as compared to other factory and/or repair companies.
a) Estimates that we provide are non-binding, as the term “estimate” is defined in the dictionary.
- We will keep you informed with Emails and pictures as we proceed with your repair.
- Providing you pictures of your repair in process is very rare and this is a unique offering from us.
b) Evaluation: $450 – This includes: Open your control, inspection, provide you with your repair estimate. We will contact you and then wait for approval to continue/start with your repair. The evaluation charge will be incorporated into your repair should you have us do the repair.
c) Shop labor rate is $150 per hour. We are often repairing inferior work done by unskilled people. This often takes us hours to diagnose and creates additional labor hours to complete your repair. Many times it is cheaper that you send your control to us first !
d) Mother board repairs: $1,200 to $3,000. Many styles and many problems can be found and fixed. Older boards are easier to work on because components are larger. We have the expertise to fix all generations of Motherboards.
e) Repair BIOS: $250 to $850. If it is a simple software repair/fix it will be at the lower range. However, if we need to unsolder the chip – erase it – find the program and then reprogram it, this repair will be at the higher end of this pricing.
f) Memory repairs: Repair failed Hard Drive, save your data and install it onto to a new SSDD or Flash card depending on which unit your system will accept: ………….$900 to $2,500
g) LCD repairs: * Repair your LCD and/or LCD driver:……$500 to $1,950 * Replace Bulbs in your LCD: $400 to $550 These jobs are labor intensive. * Replace your 10.4″ LCD: (brackets/drivers/labor)……….. $800 to $ 2,500
h) There are costs for repair parts and the shipping to us.
i) Time for reassembly of your control is at hourly labor rates. The process normally includes: * System repair – Bench assembly of components and bench test with pictures – when passed re-assembly into your Centroid control housing – Bench Retest and power on 2 hrs.
j) Vibration and control test stand, these are two separate tests: Repaired control testing: $350
(VTS): Vibration test = 6-8 hours with Power on
(CTS): Control Power on test – running 3 motors & checking all outputs = 14 -36 hrs.
k) Office documentation: 1) Customer communications (Pictures & Status reports) Costs 1-5: $400. 2) Research time for purchasing parts 3) Back up your configuration data 4) Repacking your control and bringing it to UPS – 1 hr. 5) Invoicing
l) Your control return shipping – UPS shipping costs vary.
You can always choose to replace your Centroid control with a new updated Centroid control.

Remember to add costs for: Shipping / Centroid representative for installation / New monitor and stand. We no longer do any field work, but we can recommend quality service people for the 2-3 day installation.
The good news for you is that Centroid is one of the only PC based controls that is offering factory grade service (Us) for all of their older control models. Many other builders tell you that you need a new machine or some offer major control upgrades costing $10 – $15 or $20K or more.
